“My dad pushed me over the side of the boat when I was seven years of age, and thanks to that, I’ve been exposed to that environment, and have seen my own playground, my own back yard and planet ocean being trashed.  That has to change” said  Jean-Michel Cousteau, son of the famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau speaking at a press conference Tuesday, on the return of the Kaisei tall ship to the Bay Area.
